The average wedding is no longer just a one day celebration. One of the most exciting evenings is the wedding rehearsal dinner, like this one at the Metropolitan Ballroom in Minneapolis. Not only are friends and family filled with the energy and anticipation of the wedding to come, but they have a chance to relax and get to know one another a little.
For many couples, like Raha & Clint, family and friends travel extreme distances to celebrate. This means there aren’t too many opportunities to snap group shots of such a unique reunion in the midst of a busy wedding day. So why not hire a photographer to take pictures the night before? And that’s exactly what Raha was thinking when she asked me to photograph their rehearsal dinner. It was a great way to capture a few more of those special family moments.
