Summer travels part seven: and they call the thing rodeo

I realize another summer travel post is long overdue, but rodeos are pretty worth it.

Paul and I had never been to a real live rodeo before but when we came out of Yellowstone and over the Rocky Mountains into Cody, Wyoming we were welcomed by a great big sign reading: “Rodeo tonight” Our original plans would’ve taken us to South Dakota but we canceled them, tossed on a couple cowboy hats and headed to the rodeo.

It was pretty fun.
