If you’re familiar with Excelsior, MN then you’ve probably spent a little time at Antiquity Rose. It’s become a lunchtime staple in the town since its opening nearly 40 years ago. The idea is antique shop meets lunch parlor, and it’s really fantastic. I particularly enjoy the decor which easily makes you feel like you’re dining on the set of a turn of the century (twentieth century, folks) film. At least that’s where my imagination goes.
Here’s my husband and mother trying their best at an “old style” portrait. Mom finally did it, after a few takes.
