You guys. November weddings in Minnesota are magical. Seriously.
This rustic wedding at Theodore Wirth Park & Chalet proves it. I know most Minnesotans are skeptical about the weather in November, fair enough. But let me tell you, from a photographer’s perspective, why November weddings are so great.
First of all, there’s so much…space. Things have fallen and died for the season leaving open empty spaces where the subjects stand out beautifully in photographs.
The colors. Oh my. What colors, you ask? The neutral palette of fall that nature is best at. Soft yellows, muted greens, and rustic browns. Toss in a bouquet of flowers and things just shine.
The light. Holy crap. It’s perfect this time of year. Soft as ever and amazing for photos. It’s like being in a giant photography studio with the best filters and light boxes.
So, that’s a little bit of my love for November and nature. Molly & Nate’s appreciation and love for nature also shows in their wedding details and willingness to snap as many photos as possible outdoors. I hope you enjoy it.
